Overview

With the departure of all of their finance staff, this company brought in a Control Room Finance Financial Controller to support business continuity and to stabilise the business.

Actions

Due to the urgency of their requirement, Control Room integrated with the team immediately, and started to deliver all the necessary activities of a finance team with no handover. While doing this, a viability study of deliverables was conducted in order to understand the critical activities and gain an overview of the business. Control Room worked with the management team to formulate a 30, 60 and 90 day plan for their finance function.

Results

Control Room Finance’s involvement continued for five months where they made process improvements while consistently delivering management accounts on time. A Financial Controller helped recruit a full time team and successfully handed over after to them.
